Transport
By Train
S-Bahn (city train):
Arriving by train at central railway station Hauptbahnhof take one of the eastbound city trains (S-Bahn line S 5, S 7, S 75 or S 9) to Berlin – Friedrichstraße. Change here to the S2 (destination Blankenfelde or Lichtenrade) and get off at Schichauweg station. The guest-house is a 10 minute walk away
By car:
Coming from the North (Hamburg) take the A 24 to the motorway junction Autobahndreieck Havelland, from here take the A 111 to the junction Autobahndreieck Funkturm and then take on the A 100. Exit at Tempelhofer Damm (#20) and follow the B 96 south (signs pointing south to Lichtenrade or Zossen). The B 96 becomes Mariendorfer Damm, then Lichtenrader Damm. Turn right into Grimmstraße, carry on straight to Krusauerstraße where you turn right and go straight up to Fontanestraße where you turn left (no. 45A).
Coming from the South (Munich, Leipzig) take the A 9 to the motorway junction Autobahndreieck Potsdam, then take the A 10 and exit at Rangsdorf. Travelling North, follow the signs to Lichtenrade or Tempelhof on the B 96 up to the intersection of Lichtenrader Damm / Barnetstraße. Turn left into Barnetstraße, then right into Halker Zeile and eventually left into Fontanestraße (no. 45A).
Coming from the East (Dresden) take the A 13 to the motorway intersection Schönefelder Kreuz, then take the A 10 and exit at Rangsdorf. Travelling North, follow the signs to Lichtenrade or Tempelhof on the B 96 up to the intersection of Lichtenrader Damm / Barnetstraße. Turn left into Barnetstraße, then right into Halker Zeile and eventually left into Fontanestraße (no. 45A).
Coming from the West (Hannover, Magdeburg) take the A 2 to the motorway merging point Autobahndreieck Werder, continue on A 10 and exit at Rangsdorf. Travelling North, follow the signs to Lichtenrade or Tempelhof on the B 96 up to the intersection of Lichtenrader Damm / Barnetstraße. Turn left into Barnetstraße, then right into Halker Zeile and eventually left into Fontanestraße (no. 45A).
By plane:
Arriving at Tegel airport take the bus 109 (direction: Tegeler Weg / S Jungfernheide) to the train station S + U Jungfernheide. Change here to the S42 (destination S + U Gesundbrunnen Bhf) and get off at Südkreuz station. Change here to the S2 towards Blankenfelde / Lichtenrade and get off at Schichauweg station. The guest-house is a 10 minute walk away.
Arriving at Schönefeld Airport take the bus 171 (direction: U Hermannplatz) or bus X7 (direction: U Rudow) to U Rudow ; change here onto the bus line 172 (destination Wünsdorfer Str./Blohmstr.) and get off at Grimmstr.. The guest-house is a 10 minute walk away.
